Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 (Nokia N-Gage review)

Developer: Digital Eclipse
Publisher: Electronic Arts
Released: 2004

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 is a sports game and one of five titles published by Electronic Arts for the Nokia N-Gage.

+ Great value for money due to the large number of modes and scenario-based gameplay on offer.

+ Each course is expertly designed and the unlockable locations and events are a great incentive to keep playing.

+ Trophy Balls basically act as achievements and it can be very addictive trying to unlock each one.

+ Swinging the club by rocking the d-pad down/up adds a sense of immersion and affords you real accuracy once mastered.

+ Features one of the best putting mechanics ever seen due to the intuitive caddy tips that rely on you making calculations.

- You're completely at the mercy of the game as to whether you can opt to chance a putter shot when on the fringe.

- Ambient sounds of birds uses repetitive chirp SFX samples and there's very little crowd appreciation throughout.
